blinker
This is a great cleaner, specially for free, but it has one basic and all important feature missing. Where I live, there are certain sites that I use that I need a proxy for. Sadly, using a proxy has a slow build up degenarative effect on the speed and conectivity, so the temp files, cache, cookies etc need cleaning out regularly (every hour at least). OK, so CCleaner can be set up to do an auto clean at start up, but any other clean outs need to be done manually, and that is a real bind. What this software desperately needs is a cleanout timetable / scheduler that can be set up to run in the background at preset times, or manually if you so wish You can set up Windows scheduler to run the programme, but it just opens it up, you then have to do it all yourself and that is a pain. Welcome to the Piriform Forums! Read the Beginner's Guide, then look into the Command Line section. It will explain how to have CCleaner automatically run via Task Scheduler using the /AUTO parameter from which you can have Task Scheduler automatically launch CCleaner at the intervals you require.
