TeeJay3800
Just out of curiosity, how does Piriform arrive at the version numbers? Are they random, or do they represent something in particular? I'm looking forward to the next version! Dell Latitude D600 Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1
fredvries
v1.37.456 can be disected into: 1 > release 1 (v2.0 is being worked on) 37 > public release 37 (so, there have been 38 'sub-releases' of release 1.0) 456 > internal release 456 (You can imagine that Piriform makesa lot of smaller changes to the program but, because they've decided to release a new version about once a month, they only publish the version that has all the smaller changes into it that were made during this month). gbjennings
Re: File name wiping... I have tested the latest version for the past couple of hours, and it is still not wiping file names of wiped files - at least not in FAT32. May work great on NTFS, but I see virtually no difference in FAT. Thought you would want to know. Don't think I am missiing the obvious in settings. Fantastic work MrG, as always. Save a tree, eat a beaver. Save a tree, wipe with an owl. Every time a bell rings, a thread gets hijacked! ding, ding! Give Andavari lots of money and maybe even consider getting K a DVD-RW drive. If it's not Scottish, IT'S CRAP!!!
