Mike Rochip
That's almost half price! The price doesn't take into account the added expense of having the paramedics revive you when you realise you forgot to take it out of your pocket on laundry day. Admiral Ross
Kanguru 64GB Flash Drive at TigerDirect $2799.00 Buslink 64GB Flash Drive at Engadget $5000.00 Those prices are unbelievable! Solid state memory is expensive. However, the prices will one day drop and solid state memory will be common place. That's problably when I'm 75. Out of interest for me would be a flash drive that you can boot your own os and use portable apps with, 4GB I'd be happy.

And you can boot Linux on 1mb too. Shouldn't expect too much though, no graphical user interface, etc.

My PC store TheFiresInTheSky,was it worth the effort getting XP to run off the flash. Any speed improvements or other benefits such as noise reduction? Staples is almost or just as bad, you can typically find allot of PC stuff cheaper online, and even with shipping and handling you'll still save allot of money. Gone are the days of shopping in my community to keep money in it when the prices are so vastly and drastically different. Now I wonder how much difference in price it would be to buy a new car online?

I am not sure it's possible to use Windows on a USB flash memory.
