Moderators TwistedMetal Posted August 2, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2006 Softpedia released Firefox 1.5.0.6 real early this morning. jc836
"Aug 2 2006, 06:27 AM Softpedia released Firefox 1.5.0.6 real early this morning." Very interesting-I just ran the updater from within v1.5.05 and it says there are NO updates available. This version was released last week, btw. For those that run Thunderbird-the newest release is also 1.5.05.

Very interesting-I just ran the updater from within v1.5.05 and it says there are NO updates available. Will probably be released officially tonight or tomorrow, sites like Softpedia, File Hippo usually get a version of it a day early. Strange that theres another release so soon, 1.5.0.5 was only released last week IIRC. Must have been buggy (been fine here though)
Tarun
Last week's Firefox 1.5.0.5 introduced a bug to the browser. According to online notes of the company's weekly development meeting, a fix to Firefox included in last week's 1.5.0.5 injected a new bug that stopped the Windows Media Player plug-in from working on some sites. To fix the new flaw, Mozilla will unveil Firefox 1.5.0.6 Tuesday night "if everything goes smoothly," read minutes from the weekly status meeting held Monday afternoon. The update will be posted on the Mozilla site for download and pushed to current users via the browser's built-in automatic update tool.
