myke35
Hi, Always used CCleaner on my Kindle Fire HD 8 but I can't get it to work on my Kindle Fire HD 10. When I click Analyze Files CCleaner just closes down. I had a look and CCleaner has Storage permissions. Just wondered whether anyone's come across the same & whether there might be a solution? oldhew
I have the same problem on my Kindle Fire 8. CCleaner has always worked well before this week, but suddenly it quits just as you said. I don't know of a solution.
Moderators nukecad Posted October 5, 2020 Moderators Share Posted October 5, 2020 I'm not entirly sure so call this a semi educated guess. I suspect that it may be because the Operating System of a Kindle Fire is not truly Android. It's a Unix/Linux type OS that is based on Android open source but modified by Amazon. So any changes and/or updates made by Amazon may suddenly cause it to have problems with apps that are designed to run on true Android. Did your Kindle get an update recently? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_OS *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning?
