Jason320 Posted December 16, 2019 Share Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) During deinstallation, Recuva deleted ALL *.txt files which I had in the root folder of my D:\ drive! Thank god I had a backup, but WTF, are you testing your software? This bug is replicable. I copied some random .txt files to D:, installed and deinstalled Recuva again and the installer even lists all the deleted files. This is really a no-go. Especially for a recovery software (which was btw after reinstallation not able to recover the files which the installer just deleted). Proof of Bug attached. EDIT: I used the free version of Recuva. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
