rylie
Hi. I am using a Windows 10 laptop, and Ccleaner latest version, which I manually update. I have had to restore windows to earlier date, because after running ccleaner, it appears to wipe out all of the Microsoft office suite, including Outlook email, etc.(it does not physically delete-these files stop working or report an error) This has happened before, and I thought it was because of Defraggler. I have a SSD, so thought that it didn't like being defragged! I am not a computer engineer...so What is the best way to stop this happening, please? Tonight I have tried "Exclude" Folder-Program files(86)-Microsoft office-... will this work?
APMichael
This is a known problem for a few users. A cause has not yet been identified. For some it probably helped to uninstall OneDrive:
