How to quick format my drive

I recall from another forum post on your site that said if your hard-drive is too corupted to extract files from, you can either:

A) quick format it

Or

B) use another recovery program( to which I forgot the name of).

If someone can show me how to do any of the following, that would be much appreciated. Anyways, I'm trying to recover recycle bin files that are located in "\\.\Harddiskvolume3".

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
