Ccleaner does not see or delete cookies anymore

Recommended Posts

I would guess it is just a bug or poor planning, took me awhile to figure out what was going on. Can't complain since I use the free version, wouldn't be happy if I was using paid version.

Go to "Options-Advanced"

Uncheck the box that says "show prompt to backup registry issues"

That seems a bad idea and has no impact on the problem described in this thread

Just installed free version 5.56.7144, thinking "Cookies On Computer" would finally populate.  It did not.  Several versions ago (don't know which), it was working but this problem has been present for quite some time now.  Do the paid versions have this problem?

Those are put there by CCleaner itself, located in the Cookies to Keep area so it won't delete them.

You can find those located in CCleaner at:
Options > Cookies
