Lee B
Did an install of programs - program installer did not register with Windows Installer consequently couldn't uninstall. Manually deleted the folder and contained files. Installed updated version of program and this version registered with windows installer. Did an Uninstall and again, programs were not removed. Ran CCleaner to fix install issues in registry but that didn't solve problem. Manually deleted folder and ran CCleaner again - Did good install and uninstall again and files still persist. Somewhere those orphan install files persist in registry. Any ideas as to how to remove them? Lee
Moderators Andavari Posted March 12, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 12, 2019 Perhaps install those program(s) again, but this time uninstall using either Geek Uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller both have a freeware version, and both scan for left-overs and remove them - or at least what's safe to remove.
