DjLizard 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 Does it now recognize keys it cannot delete? I think CCleaner should inform the user that one or more keys could not be deleted because of [insert HRESULT and error text here]. Will CCleaner eventually support Unicode? Woody 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2006 Is it better to uninstall the previous version before installing the new one? What do you people do?
pwillener 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2006 Don't uninstall the previous version; you will lose all your settings (cookies to keep, etc.). Installing over the previous version always works.

All 3 - Standard, Basic and Lite versions of 130 can be downloaded from this d/l page: http://ccleaner.com/downloadbuilds.asp Just to let everyone know: at that page there (above) : The first one there - the Standard Build.. the one with the Toolbar: "CCleaner v1.30.310 - Standard Build 1,423KB Download now" If click on Download button for it - it gives version 129 still (instead of 130) Maybe someone can fix that... .... The other 2 Builds (Slim and Basic) - ARE OK .. they both give

andreasm 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2006 Removing entries of programs with MSI-installer still doesn't work. I think that should be fixed because developers are using more and more MSI installers ... and these installers make often trouble (not only on my computer!). I think that should be fixed because developers are using more and more MSI installers ... and these installers make often trouble (not only on my computer!). Use msizap instead (well, MSICUU) as removing MSI packages is probably beyond the scope of CCleaner (i.e., it's complicated).
