Livelysause
Not sure if this is a bug or not but when i open Speccy right after my first startup of the day the CPU temp reads between 80 to 95 degrees Celsius. but if i reboot the comp and open bios, it claims the temp is only around 40 degrees Celsius. I don't know if Speccy is supposed to display Fahrenheit, or if it is reading inaccurately. Please help.
Moderators nukecad Posted December 31, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 31, 2018 It's reading inaccurately (probably). Just look at all the other threads in this Speccy forum about wrong temperature readings. AFAIK Speccy just reports what the OS is telling it, so ultimately it's the OS that's giving the wrong figure and Speccy is just reporting it. (Unless there is some conversion error going on, but if there was I would have expected it to have been fixed after all the reports of wrong temps). *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'?
