Does it work as advertised

My PC is an older Vostro and running Windows 10. Windows defender probably keeps the anti virus threats at bay but the system is running slow and start-up is painful. I am more concerned about customer support and response time than anything else so the question is.....how is the customer support from Piriform? In the past I've had issues with getting downloads to open properly and often have to have a support rep access the system to complete the process. I read good things about this program and I'm willing to give it a try but need to know customer support has my back
