GeoffN Posted December 8, 2018 Share Posted December 8, 2018 (edited) Running Ccleaner Free v5.50.6911 (64bit) Currently not cleaning Chrome history and cookies - as setting are remembered and history not being removed. Google Chrome is up to date - Version 71.0.3578.80 (Official Build) (64-bit) Also noticed Opera is remembering logins. Version:56.0.3051.116 Not sure Ccleaner is cleaning much of anything at the moment...... I had all windows closed then run Ccleaner with everything on the Chrome sittings ticked. But history is still remembered - and by magic I can still log into this forum with out a username/password. Is chrome still running in the background (check task manager for chrome.exe) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
