enchantedwolfe
Everytime I try to update to 550 I get an error telling me Error opening file for writing: C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner64.exe, then if I ignore I get the same message but with branding.dll. I've quit my Malwarebytes and halted my Avast, I'm not sure what to do next. Need help please
Moderators Nergal Posted December 1, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 1, 2018 It sounds like ccleaner is still running (maybe smart cleaning in the system tray). Check task manager for any ccleaner remnants. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
