Moderators Andavari Posted May 30, 2006 Moderators Share Posted May 30, 2006 If you download from the official CCleaner download page and not some download website, you'll find that there are two other builds being offered: Basic - Includes all currently available languages, no toolbar Slim - English only version, no toolbar This whole toolbar dicussion that keeps popping up is a very moot point since there's two other builds available without it. Greenknight
Plus, you can choose to not install the toolbar, even if you downloaded the version that has it included.
seamaiden
Plus, you can choose to not install the toolbar, even if you downloaded the version that has it included. When installing ANY software or update, you should ALWAYS READ the promps to see what you are installing and with what options. Don't blindly click Next or Continue. Windows 10 (x64). Android 11. zaphirer
When installing ANY software or update, you should ALWAYS READ the promps to see what you are installing and with what options. Don't blindly click Next or Continue. Good advice, everyone should do that. Never get lazy when installing or uninstalling things... especially when dealing with any type of Adware/Spyware cleaners. DJpailo
I agree with people that you should read what your installing, but yahoo toolbar brings more problems then it solves. I personally think it shouldn't be there either. http://www.lavasoftusa.com http://wiki.lunarsof.../PC_Maintenance
