Ian H
Win 8.1 Free space wiper on hd (SSD) didn`t work, did a clean reinstall of ccleaner (pro, v. 5.48, registered). Same problem, won`t wipe (`Wipe` button greyed out). Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Moderators Nergal Posted October 28, 2018 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2018 You can't and don't want to wipe a flash memory or ssd. It will drastically reduce your drive life. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
