At the bottom it'll show the icon for the program the cookie belongs to. However, I used the method you suggested on the cookies I would like to delete and they are from all three of my browsers. Most are from Edge because I use it more than the others. Try the same thing (debug) but only right click on cookies. eliascm Posted September 17, 2018 Author Share Posted September 17, 2018 I do not want Firefox to clean the cookies. If it cleans them all, I won't have the cookies I want to keep. This causes problems with, for example, my bank website. It will say it doesn't recognize my computer and I will be required to have them send a temporary code in order to access the website. The same problem will occur with other security conscious websites. Some of the things you have posted seem to say that you are not quite sure how it works. Let's see if I can help with some screenshots. Firstly I am not concerned about Cookies to Keep, but with the long list of cookies I don't want to keep. That says to me that you mean this screen: You can't clean cookies at that screen, it just enables you to move them between the 2 lists. To delete cookies you need to select them on the main cleaning screen, for each browser you use. If they are not selected there they will not be cleaned. If they are selected then when you click on the big blue 'Run Cleaner' button they will be removed. Firefox or other browsers are on the second tab, 'Applications', again they need to be selected to be cleaned. I do not want Firefox to clean the cookies. If it cleans them all, I won't have the cookies I want to keep. That is the reason for the screen shown in the first screenshot above. You move the cookies you want to keep into the 'Cookies to Keep' list and CCleaner with leave those ones alone. eliascm Posted September 18, 2018 Author Share Posted September 18, 2018 Sorry, but this doesn't help. As I mentioned in a previous post, I have the proper item checked for cleaning Firefox cookies. I have learned that the cookies cannot be deleted from the CCleaner screen list. I have tried everything suggested by the previous posters except deleting the cookies using Firefox itself. Edit: I followed the instructions & then opened Edge to visit this site & post, after closing Edge CCleaner ran cleanup but cookies were still listed - see afterclean screengrab.
