Moderators mta Posted September 4, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 4, 2018 there simply is no need to defrag a SSD due to the technology. the word 'fragmentation' shouldn't even be used with SSD, it is a legacy word leftover from a legacy generation of hardware architecture. was this SSD or C:\ drive? what is the error message you get when accessing the SSD? are you on Windows 10? Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
