Yaron
How can I disable the new CCleaner / MONITOR service set to run on Windows Startup? I've disabled and even deleted the entry but it shows up again on the next startup. Thank you.
Moderators Nergal Posted July 27, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 27, 2018 See here ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Yaron
@TheOwner, Auto-update is disabled in CCleaner Settings and I can't find a CCupdate in the Task Manager. Thank you.
TheOwner
You have to open Windows (not CCleaner) Task Scheduler. This task is hidden but Task Scheduler shows hidden task by default.
Yaron
Done. I'll post again if it auto-runs on my next startup. Thank you. I appreciate it.
