Can't disable System Monitoring in CCleaner Pro 5.45

Seems (ccsetup544.exe) to be the simplest way to 'wait' until its 'fixed'.  None of the other suggestions worked here.  Not ready to try regedit.  Any ideas on how/when to know it has been 'fixed' ?

The old versions of Ccleaner can also be downloaded from piriform.

And, thanks again for your help !

confirming this on the free version. I happen to still be on 5.45, but it's fine because I don't restart often except for Windows Updates.

thank you to everyone else who confirmed it's not just me.

also, I agree it would be nice to have a  right click option to close it with the tray icon.

As said above v5.45 has been withdrawn and you should revert to v5.44 pending further developments.
