Skipping

I am running W10 

Lately its Skipping several files when Cleaning.

Cookies

M/s Edge Cookies

I checked the Chrome Settings and the "Uncheck" for Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed.  It was Unchecked.

Please Help I am not a computer expert just an average user.

restart you PC into Safe Mode (hold the Shift key as you go through the restart sequence.

them run CC in there and see if that helps.  that way there should be no browser related background task running causing CC to skip.

if that works, when you start the PC normally and CC tells you it has skipped things, it's probably because those programs and their related background processes are still running.
looking at Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) will confirm that.

Backup now & backup often.

I went straight to the Task View in my Task Bar and removed several older files.   Ran CC and no problems at all.

Next question where can I go to see what should be ticked in the CC Professional ?

the default settings are the safest.

in Options > Advanced, click Restore default settings

Backup now & backup often.
It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.

I have completed  this Options > Advanced, click Restore default settings

Being an Admin and a Mod on different Forums I know how much a prompt reply is appreciated.
