Donut
I ran Duplicate Finder and indicated the files that should be removed. Then after running was told NOT ALL files were removed. So I tried again and had the same reply. WHY indicate the files to be removed if THEY ARE NOT going to be. Is there a special reason why they are NOT? Moderators Nergal Posted May 16, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 16, 2018 Likely those duplicates are needed (such as system files). Instead of blindly removing all duplicates, you should look at each entry and judiciously choose only files you know shouldn't be duplicates (such as images, docs or music files). ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
