Ralph124C41
I've been using CCleaner for years and recently started using Comodo for its firewall and anti-virus. Today I tried to install the newest version of CCleaner and Comodo posts a warning that it contains a malicious file and seems to delete the file unless I take steps to override the command. On the older version of CCleaner I have been getting, as others here have noted, the warning from Comodo that CCleaner is trying to change some of my internet settings. I've just ignored those warning but this one seems to up the ante. What can I do? I like using CCleaner and I like using Comodo. So ....?
Moderators mta Posted December 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 12, 2017 it's more than likely caused by the embedded offerings in CC for the Avast AV software or Chrome browser or whatever other software Piriform deems worthy. as long as you get CC from the official website here; https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds you can be assured (as humanly possible) is trustworthy. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
