Moderators mta Posted November 27, 2017 Moderators Share Posted November 27, 2017 g'day @SpumoniDoodles and welcome, firstly, start Task Manager and double check there are no extra chrome.exe process running when you use CC. also check the Advanced Setting in Chrome to 'keep running background tasks' is disabled. and try cleaning Chrome history from within Chrome initially to start from a clean slate then see if CC gets over the hurdle. what is your Chrome version? Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. SpumoniDoodles
Latest version of chrome. Just double checked today. This worked before a few builds ago. The last few have been doing this i just didn’t have time to report it. Manually cleaning cookies etc. through chrome works fine. Only a single Process running in task manager thanks
Moderators mta Posted November 28, 2017 Moderators Share Posted November 28, 2017 when Chrome is closed, for CC to clean it, there needs to be no chrome.exe processes still running. (and just for giggles, can you show the actual version of Chrome, it may help others help you.)
