max Posted April 19, 2006 Share Posted April 19, 2006 Failed to initialize properly error I have cc loaded up fine under my primary user name, I tried to run it (even loaded it again from my secondary user name on the same computer. both user names have administrator privileges, and I get ?Failed to initialize properly error oxc0000022? any idea why I can not run the program under both names? First, try using Dial-a-fix's repair permissions tool: 1) From the account that CCleaner won't run in, download Dial-a-fix medium. Extract it on your desktop. 2) Launch Dial-a-fix.exe, click the hammer button (Tools) and then double click on "Repair permissions". Wait for it to complete (it takes quite a while), close Dial-a-fix, and try CCleaner in that user account again.
