syncopator
Every time I open CCleaner, Active Monitoring is checked again. I don't want it to run. How can I overcome this annoying problem? Moderators Nergal Posted June 28, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 28, 2017 Are you running it as an admin with uac (or ccleaner's skipuac). It sounds like you preferences are unwritable by your user. Do the marks stay unchecked after, or are they rechecking? Is your preference set to save settings in an ini file or is it registry preferences,? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
