I have a similar question, wondering how secure the "normal" file remover works.  Is it the standard kind of erase that removes only the front part of a file, leaving the rest of the file searchable?  Is it possible to do a multi-scrubbing kind of erase that prevents a forensic extraction of the original file, as some other programs do?

I re-posted this so I can say "thanks" and get notifications.

What? This isn't really a suggestion, is it? A CC normal deletion just runs the equivalent of a shift/del, so the file is flagged as deleted in the MFT and the data remains until overwritten. A secure erase will overwrite the data before deletion, one pass is quite sufficient.
