thalooka Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Hello, i got an Problem with the RAM showing up with speccy: At type it shows unknown, i use: 16GB (2x 8192MB) G.Skill RipJaws V rot DDR4-3200 DIMM CL14-14-14-34 Dual Kit (F4-3200C14D-16GVR) I mean Gskill is not very unpopular will this be fixed with an update? Moderators mta Posted May 18, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 18, 2017 Speccy gets a lot of its info from the Windows WMI service. start an elevated command prompt and type in wmic the type memorychip that will list all your details stores in the firmware. scroll right to see what is listed under Manufacturer. and while there, look at Capacity, ConfiguredClockSpeed and whatever else to see what hasn't been supplied by the manufacturer or what Speccy isn't passing on. Backup now & backup often.It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
