ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

- The socalled WMI sub-system has been corrupted. WMI is used to pull up A LOT OF info from your system. There's a program that can fix that. Tweaking's Windows Repair.

http://www.tweaking.com/

It can fix A LOT OF things incl. WMI. Run - at least - repairs #4 & #5 under tab #5 ("Repairs").

- Keep us posted.

- Good to hear that it worked out well for you.

- If Windows doesn't give you loads of errors (next time) then you also can run the repairs only and skip the "optional" steps. Just see what works out best for you.
