Motherboard temperature

Recommended Posts

Hi to all,

I have a workstation with dual Xeon:

- MB Asus Z10PE D8 WS
- CPU Intel Xeon E5-2683 V3 with liquid cooler

- RAM DDR4 64GB

- graphic card integrated on the MB

- never extra card

The average temperature of processor are 25°C in low frequency and 35-38°C in turbo frequency for long time.

Using Speccy I see an abnormal value for the motherboard: 105°C fixed (independently of the system use: normal or turbo for long time). Where are read this value by the software in the motherboard? I want only prevent problems and failures.

Many thanks

Hi cmd7 :)

There is a dedicated thread for wrong Motherboard temps reported by Speccy.

https://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=47135

Perhpas you'd be good enough to post your info there. The devs read that thread so I'll close this one now.
