Willy2
- I wrote a guide on how to fix the "Windows Update" problem that's plagueing Windows users since the 2nd quarter of 2016. - Yes, Vista & Win 8 users also experience the same problem on their systems. http://www.tweaking.com/forums/index.php/topic,4799.0.html - Suggestions to improve this guide are VERY welcome (Send me a PM, an email or post in this thread). Perhaps also the (english) wording of this guide can be improved ?? System setup: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/gcNzIPEjEb0B2khOOBVCHPc A discussion always stimulates the braincells !!! Moderators Andavari Posted August 29, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 29, 2016 (edited) I remember the update memory hog issues on XP, interesting that they can't get it right in newer oses this long going. On XP one serious hog was when it would update the .NET Framework with security patches - like every single time, damn thing took forever (45 minutes or longer for me) with high CPU usage, etc. Edited August 29, 2016 by Andavari
