I have 2 x 8GB 2133 DD4 modules that are working and showing up just fine in the BIOS (XMP enabled and set-up properly), however in Speccy they appear like this: My question is obviously why does it appear as "unknown" ? 2. In the Graphics section, the informations is like this: Obviously I'm intrigued by that "unsafe" label there, any ideas what it might mean ? Thanks in advance ! Moderators mta Posted July 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 16, 2016 my guess on the 'unknown' is the firmware of the memory modules either aren't playing nice with the WMI Service and hence not being passed to Speccy, or there is a deficiency in Speccy not being able to interpret said info. as to 'unsafe', see if this helps; https://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=39378&p=239285 Backup now & backup often.It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data.
