rb_stern
From my reading I understand that secure file deletion, with 7 or 35 passes, doesn't work on a solid state drive. This is why Apple have removed this option from the Trash menu in El Capitan. I still have Yosemite (Macbook Pro Retina). So does the secure file deletion option in CCleaner for Mac do what it says, and will it still do it if I upgrade to El Capitan?
