krit86lr Posted April 3, 2006 Author Share Posted April 3, 2006 Okay, it was set at 85 Hertz and I changed it to 70 Hertz. Is that a good place to start? Just thought that I would drop a confirmation. Dropping the refresh rate to 70 Hertz seems to have done the trick. After spending 2 hours on the computer that annoying noise didn't come on at all. Very cool, and simple. Thanks again everyone. I'll have to tell my aunt that because at the time I was installing all the software on her PC I couldn't tell where the hell that noise was coming from.
