Chagny
Hi, I am trying to use recuva to recover deleted files from my windows phone. When I launch Recuva, it proposes me first to select the files I want to recover ; then I select photos. Then it proposes me to select the drive to scan but my windows phone does not appear in the Recuva menu (but it is well displayed on my computer). Can you help me on this ? Thanks in advance and best regards,
Moderators Nergal Posted August 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 12, 2015 Recuva can only detect drives given a drive letter. Most devices (Android, Ios, cameras) only mount as "transfer devices" and not drives. While it surprises me that Windows Mobile only mounts as a transfer device, this does seem to be the case. So I can maybe research for you a little, which phone do you have and is it windows phone 7 or 8? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
