HavasuSecret
CCleaner Mac Professional Edition stopped working (actual error message; Unsupported OS) after OS upgrade to Mac OS X version 10.11 El Capitan.
Moderators Nergal Posted July 13, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 13, 2015 I believe El Capitan is still a beta OS. If this is correct, Piriform products usually don't support Beta software as it is apt to change (especially a Operating System), my guess is that the version of ccleaner released after 10.11 is released will work correctly. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. rkravi
Now that El Capitan is officially released (it is no longer a beta version), I still get the same error - 'Unsupported OS' when I run CCleaner on my mac. Do we expect an update for this?
SR45
It's been over three months now since we started having issues, and no fix for El Capitan. Me thinks its a big issue for them to fix
