Trium, the MAC OS doesn't use services.

Whateva, we dont have a lot of MAC people who come by the forum. The developers read all threads, so they may ask for more information

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Hi there,

Thanks for the information and I'm sorry you're facing this issue!

I've attached a screenshot of CCleaner's start-up modification tool - can you confirm whether CCleaner is in this list? If so, click on CCleaner and then click remove. This won't remove the application, but it will remove the app from start up.

Let me know if this doesn't solve the problem for you  :)

Hi folks.. thank you for the replies.

No, CCleaner is not even in it's own list of startup programs. Nor is it listed in my account Login items which is very strange.

But I did find 2 instances of it in the /System/Library/LaunchAgents folder. I will delete them both and see what happens.
