Sheri3nd
I have downloaded the latest version but it still will not save selected cookies! And I still cannot turn off monitoring from the Options>monitoring screen. I have disabled monitoring in the Tools> startup screen, so hopefully it is not running all the time even though I don't want it to? I might consider buying CCleaner Professional but I would be extremely annoyed if it still wouldn't save selected cookies and I still couldn't turn off monitoring! It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers.

Moderators Nergal Posted October 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 13, 2014 What OS version? If vista or newer run with UAC privileges (which is required) is not the same thing as running it as an administrator account (which, to many of us here, is what it sounds like is happening to you) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
