oldsmokey72
I have two machines, a laptop running Windows XP Home SP2 and a desktop running Windows XP Pro SP2. When I run CCleaner on my laptop with Google 'internet history' ticked, I lose all my extensions. On the desktop I have the same boxes ticked but when I run CCleaner the extensions stay. Looking thru all the 'geek' talk, I dont really understand 1) why CCleaner has started messing up the extensions and 2) why only on the XP Home machine. Any thoughts?? Moderators mta Posted February 14, 2014 Moderators Share Posted February 14, 2014 what's the difference between the 2 pc's? for example, what browser and version on each PC? what anti-virus software? are they both running CC v4.10.4570? Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
