Willy2
I did read it. It reminded me that I had to update my system with the january 2014 updates. I already had the december 2013 updates and I remember it still was a nightmare. I just wanted to post my experiences with WU on my XP system. Did the readers of this thread read this article ? http://redmondmag.com/articles/2013/12/17/xp-resource-hog-problem.aspx System setup: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/gcNzIPEjEb0B2khOOBVCHPc A discussion always stimulates the braincells !!! Willy2
And this news is another reason why - IMO - MS is quite hesitant to quit supporting XP & MSE. "Bank ATMs are still running on XP". http://redmondmag.com/blogs/the-schwartz-report/2014/01/atms-still-run-windows-xp.aspx O.M.G !!!!!! According to Shane ( www.Tweaking.com ) there won't be a SP 2 for Win 7 or a SP 4 for XP. http://www.tweaking.com/forums/index.php/topic,1704.0.html System setup: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/gcNzIPEjEb0B2khOOBVCHPc A discussion always stimulates the braincells !!!
