Moderators hazelnut Posted November 20, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 20, 2013 What you watch, and and files on attached USB are allegedly being sent even if you turn ''collection of watching info'' in preferences to off. http://arstechnica.com/security/2013/11/smart-tv-from-lg-phones-home-with-users-viewing-habits-usb-file-names/ LG representatives said when asked about this ... "The advice we have been given is that unfortunately as you accepted the Terms and Conditions on your TV, your concerns would be best directed to the retailer" "We understand you feel you should have been made aware of these T's and C's at the point of sale, and for obvious reasons LG are unable to pass comment on their actions." Moderators mta Posted November 20, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 20, 2013 we should rename all our streaming files to Midget_Porn_2013_1.avi, Midget_Porn_2013_2.avi and so on - that'll stuff 'em. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. TheWebAtom
I have one of these. Oh well, now someone on the other side of the world knows there's someone in Australia who watches lots of Frasier re-reruns. Not quite sure how I'm going to continue onwards with my life now. I'm Shane.
