Derek891
Thank you Hazelnut. I've wondered for some time what software was used to make those Youtube videos with an on screen tutorial straight from someone's desktop. This explains it. Record Your Desktop VLC can load your desktop as an input device. This means that you can use the Convert / Save feature to save a video of your desktop, effectively turning VLC into screen capture software. You could also use this in concert with the Stream feature to broadcast a live stream of your desktop across the network or Internet with no additional software required. Start every day with a smile and get it over with. - W.C. Fields
Alan_B
Record Your Desktop Desktop Videos instead of Desktop Screenshots would be a wonderful enhancement to Dennis's Desktop topic http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=39586 Who is going to try first
Moderators mta Posted October 4, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 4, 2013 Wow, it really is the Swiss Army knife of players. And here is me just liking it because it's been a one-stop-shop for the multitude of codecs out there. Thanks for the link... Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
