JasonE
Since I upgraded my gpu speccy (v1.21.491) has been crashing, it's a 650ti Boost 2gb the vendor is MSI, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling speccy to no avail, other piriform programs work fine. Any sugestions?
Moderators Nergal Posted May 24, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 24, 2013 please run speccy in debug mode http://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/troubleshooting-speccy/running-speccy-in-debug-mode only check GPU on the popup to start with if this causes a crash please attach the log created to this thread, also hold on to the dump file which is created in case the development team asks for it. if it does not cause a crash run debug again with everything checked in the popup ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. jon_joy_1999
I too have a GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost, vendor EVGA, and am experiencing crashes. I ran speccy in debug mode with the settings suggested by Nergal, and it resulted in a crash. I have attached the indicated log file to this post. Speccy_log1_21_49125-5-2013_19-50.txt.txt] following the confirmed crash, I again Speccy in debug mode with all but the video card selected, and Speccy crashed on program exit. I have included that log file as well Speccy_log1_21_49125-5-2013_19-55.txt.txt]
Moderators Nergal Posted May 26, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 26, 2013 thanks, the bugfixer team read all debug reports that are posted, they may not comment but they will read them. Please hold on to the dmp files incase they're needed. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
