Moderators Nergal Posted May 30, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 30, 2013 (edited) I just installed the current version of Speccy onto my Windows 8 laptop. The app is reporting the wromg CPU. It is reporting that an Intel i7 is installed while an Intel i3 is actually instally. Why would this be trhe case? What is the remedy? Ironically, CCleaner reports the correct CPU so it has to be something with the Speccy code. please start a thread in the speccy board in order to get an answer Edit: never mind I've moved your post http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=38750 Edited May 30, 2013 by Nergal ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
