natefate
Every time I run CCleaner and reboot, I get a notification asking to login to Windows 8 with my 'current password' which is actually the same password, CCleaner is just erasing it. What option do I leave unchecked to fix this?
Moderators Nergal Posted January 24, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 24, 2013 Ccleaner version? I've not encountered this occurring, is your computer-username tied to your live account? (mine is) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. natefate
3.27.1900 It's tied to my live account and every time I reboot after running ccleaner, I get a notification saying to login with my current password. I also use CCEnhancer so I'll upload a picture of the additional options that gives me (general tips on options to leave checked and unchecked would be appreciated too, if you see anything out of place). Edited February 2, 2013 by Nergal removed ccenhancer images
Moderators Nergal Posted February 2, 2013 Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2013 ccleaner enhanced is not supported on this forum, nor sanctioned by Piriform, I'm afraid you'll have to remove enhancer and test to see if you still experience the issue. Until removed we cannot continue to provide aid in this forum. Sorry, MGMT ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. tclarson
I'm not using enhanced, but in any case, I use Win 8 64, and it was doing the same. I stopped clearing network passwords and that seems to have fixed it. (same base version)
