When you post with any issue on a forum it is a good idea to post additional info such as....

What operating system and service pack you have.

Which build of ccleaner you are using (please don't just say latest, it will tell you at the top of the ccleaner window which it is)

If you use Winapp2.ini.

Are all you virus/malware scans up to date and clean.

You say you removed IE, do you just mean you unticked it in ccleaner?

I once had a SAITEK keyboard.

Every day it worked OK,

BUT every time I powered up Windows XP the Event Log scored one more Error Event HID (Human Interface something)

I do not think your keyboard should keep its driver files in the System Temp - that is asking for trouble

You can't remove IE from the system since it is part of the system.

It is used not only for showing internet pages, but (parts of it) also are used to show help (.chm/.hlp) files.

If your keyboard drivers are using the temp folder, the drivers where not programmed really smart.

It is however logical that CCleaner has problems with the files there.

They may be (and like are) in use by the system so they can't just be removed.

I suggest you boot in safe mode and then run CCleaner.
