ihg1954
Has anyone purchased a CyberPower battery back up and had difficulty with the PowerPanel Personal Edition software? If so, what was the solution? I have spoken with the "support" department and they cannot help me. I have tried turning off all anti-spyware software, etc., uninstalled, reinstalled the software, etc...to no avail. Get an error that the software is unable to communicate with the computer. SpySweeper is a known issue, but followed their instructions explicitly. Any one have any ideas of what my be conflicting? The battery back up will continue to work, but the software will not stay communicating for over 2 hours...ARRRGGHH!!!
Mike Rochip
The only info I could find here mentions that the "Uninterupptible Power Supply Service" may need to be running on your PC. You can check by going to Start>Run>type in services.msc>Enter If it isn't started you can right-click on the service, click properties, and then select "Automatic." Then in the upper left of the wondow click on Start the service. Hope this helps!
