login123
Wow, what a bunch of cranky campers in the comments. I wonder if ms has trauma counselors on retainer for their staffers? The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers. Winapp2.ini
only one more day I quite like Wintersun, but I didn't know they were looking to release another album! winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
nodles
Yeah I've preordered it (+other merchs ), but I've already had the chance to listen to the album, it's awesome! Now waiting for the physical copy and Time II! Also saw them live last Saturday. I guess this is going a bit offtopic? Winapp2.ini
I actually have been hating IE less since 9 came out, but I only very rarely open it if, for some reason, I need to have 3 browsers open concurrently. 9 isn't awful, but it's just not a serious competitor to Chrome or Firefox. I forbid my mother from using IE7 on her XP desktop winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
nodles
Haven't really used IE since IE6 or 7 I think. I forbid my mother from using IE7 on her XP desktop Same here, I usually "hide" IE from my parent's desktops etc. Sometimes even from my friends'. Force them to move to Firefox (or at least Opera/Chrome!) Edited October 18, 2012 by nodles
Moderators rridgely Posted October 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2012 IE10 has spell checking. All I really care about. Firefox has been slow and chrome still renders sites strangely.(all webkit browsers do. For instance I hate shopping on amazon with chrome. It doesn't zoom in on pictures correctly)
Winapp2.ini
Spell check has been a long absent feature from IE, and never has the internet needed spell check more than in the recent advent of Facebook and Twitter. (Except perhaps, in the heydays of Angelfire and Geocities ) winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Moderators rridgely Posted October 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2012 Before firefox I would often write things into word before posting them on forums, social sites, ect. Glad those days are over! I actually like IE9. It eliminated a lot of the weird security prompts and issues that IE8 had. I would use it if it had spell checking and ad blocking that didn't involve the host file. I'm actually kinda looking forward to IE10.

Moderators rridgely Posted October 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2012 Yeah, I'm just glad all of the choices are acceptable. Except Opera. (kidding Dennis and Hazel. )
pwillener
Note that IE10 will come bundled with Flash Player, similar as Google Chrome. Which means you will always be stuck with a slightly old (but hopefully working) version.
Moderators rridgely Posted October 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 19, 2012 That could also mean they are going to auto update flash with windows update each month. That would actually be very good for most users. Flash just recently started auto updating in the back ground without prompts. Before that I hardly ever updated it. pwillener
That could also mean they are going to auto update flash with windows update each month. Yes, that's the plan - Microsoft would be wholly responsible for the update process.

Super Fast
I can't stand flash Me either! Not when it's bundled. As for rridgely, try Speckie or IESpell for IE9. Adds spell check.

Winapp2.ini
Sometimes my firefox spell check doesn't work on the forums. I usually (always) use quick reply, so maybe that's the issue. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Moderators Nergal Posted October 21, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 21, 2012 iespell doesn't show the red line (ever) you have to manually check spelling. On the forum what it likes to do is place the correctly spelled word inside of the incorrect one (and only some times) the cprreccorrectlytly spelled word inside that probably because it's last update was in the 2010 (and before that 2006) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Winapp2.ini
bahaha. Yeah, poor IE, there's no way it can keep up with features like firefox/chrome can (with eachother) due to the fact IE is rarely updated for features. Often enough for security though. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
nodles
I've never used spellcheck (in browsers). It wouldn't correct me if my grammar is bad, just the typos. Edited October 21, 2012 by nodles
