sam fiantago
At completion of running defraggler , the results always show "0" fragmentation files , "0" total fragments and "11%" fragmentation. How can I get rid of the 11% fragmentation ? MSXP -SP3 system with 1.5G ram. Have run CC Cleaner and defragged many times. Problem seems to have started after "PAGE FILE ' size was changed. Is there a defraggler file I can zero or erase ? Do I have to relode defraggler ? Do I have to uninstall old defraggler before I reinstall? THANKS. "Krozer" The boot defrag fixed the problem
kroozer
I'm thinking it's pagefile.sys and/or hiberfil.sys. Try ☑ ticking these 3 and run a BootTimeDefrag then run Defraggler\analyze to check the frag count. btw ► You can have Windows clear the PagingFile at shutdown by installing Fixit 50463. and ► You can empty Hibernate by deleting/enabling hiberfil.sys.
